Hey lovely lads and ladies, it's thursday again, so you know what it is time for!

Free game recommendations!

This week is dedicated to Pokemon ROM Hacks.
These are games that use roms of actual pokemon games as a base for fan created games. Sometimes, these add things like new fancreated pokemon, or it's simply a new storyline. Either way, it's a fun way to kill an hour or so.

I'M ONLY INCLUDING COMPLETED GAMES. YES, THERE ARE MANY GOOD INCOMPLETE OR DROPPED GAMES, BUT COMPLETED GAMES ARE MORE IDUNNO FUN?

To play these games you're going to need a gameboy emulator, I suggest Visual boy advance for it is a pretty solid one.
You might also need an ips patcher, no worries they're not too hard to use. And you'll need a "blank" base rom. All those details will be under the title of the roms.

Grand Day out
Base rom: Leaf Green

Grand Day out is an odd short story. You play as a kid thrown out of their house trying to figure out why Team Rocket is blowing things up.
It's a short game, but definetly worth a playthrough. Also remember to talk to all the NPCs because some of the dialouge is hilarious.

Pokemon flora sky
Base rom: Emerald

A highly rated fangame.
"You'll come to a land with many mysteries of the legendary Pokemon. After the battle between Dialga and Palkia, the portal between Torn World - the world of Giratina and real world is opened. Giratina appears and brings many unanticapated dangers. And you must close this portal before its too late. Meanwhile, Team Magma and Aqua are seeking the legendary Fire and Water type Pokemon to dominate their world. Together with other friends, our hero will prevent the heat of the legendary Pokemon by the actions of Team Magma and Aqua. What will help Groudon and Kyogre calm down? For more stories, let's play.."

A pokemon game with zombies in it, what's not to like?
There are a bunch of rather tricky puzzles in this one, but if you get too stuck, there are solutions on the pokecommunity forum.
